Volunteers

Most competitions require 20-25 volunteers over the weekend. Without parents, friends, administrators, and coaches, we would not be able to hold our races.  Volunteering is a great way to meet the families, learn about the sport and get in an extra work out.  Contact your club representative and organizing committee to help out. Roles include: 

- Sponsor advertising & development
- Course set-up
- Sound and power set-up
- Check-in and bib registration
- Timing
- Scoring
- Lunch patrol
- Top jump choppers
- Bottom jump choppers
- Course take-down
- End of season bar-b-que​

Opportunities are also available to become competition officials as certified judges and technical directors.  Honorary and legendary titles are available for a donation, HOT CHOP t-shirts are free to any chopper, contact the division treasurer for details on either.
